In order to find the 1963 Volkswagen Beetle, you'll need to play through the "Vocho" Horizon Story until the second-to-last chapter. Where is every Barn Find in Forza Horizon 5? One of these Barn Finds is different from all the others, as it is a part of a Horizon Story, so doesn't count in the 14 Barn Finds players need for one of the Forza Horizon 5 Achievements (the Better Than New Achievement). Fortunately, we're keeping track of everything you need to know about discovering every Barn Find in FH5, and what cars you can expect to earn from them. Of course, this also means it can be difficult to know how to obtain every Barn Find, especially if you're aiming to fill out your car collection. These Gift Drops appear in the same locations Barn Finds are, so you can return to these barns at any time to help prepare a Gift Drop. You can choose any of your cars, complete with liveries and upgrades, and send to a random player in the FH5 community. This time around, Barn Finds are more contextual and more varied than ever before.Īnother new feature in Forza Horizon 5 is the addition of Gift Drops, which are personalized Barn Finds that players can give to the community. However, some Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 5 can only be discovered by doing specific things, like completing Expeditions. Just like before, Barn Finds can be "revealed" by exploring the map and at different times or seasons. By seeking out Barn Finds, FH5 players can augment their collection with hidden entries on the Forza Horizon 5 car list, providing a lot of incentive to explore wherever you go.įorza Horizon 5's Barn Finds behave a little differently than in previous Forza Horizon games. These cars need to be tracked down and recovered from the dilapidated homes they're abandoned in, and then restored to their former glory. In Forza Horizon 5, the answer is pretty similar (if a bit more on the nose), as Barn Finds are legendary classics hidden throughout the world. In the real world, "barn find" refers to finding an old classic vehicle and restoring it. My little arrow is pointing right at it.Source: Windows Central (Image credit: Source: Windows Central) I must have driven my Mitsubishi back and forth through that jungle for at least 45 minutes, all told.īut never fear, I found the damn thing. This hunt drove me nuts, and even after I had found all of the other barn cars in the game, I still couldn't find the thing. But there was one, in the southern portion of the map, that has players searching in the densest jungle area in the game, back and forth, through rivers and streams (and one corner of an ancient city). I found most of the barn cars pretty quickly, after maybe a minute or two of hunting. I would drop everything and zip right over there to start the hunt. Most players will probably poke around a little bit then next time they are in the area, but I was obsessed. The game will highlight a decent-sized space on the map - probably about one square mile. Occasionally, Horizon 5 will ping the player, noting that there is a car hidden in a barn somewhere on the map. As I noted in my review, one of my favorite mechanics in the game is the barn car treasure hunt. If you are anything like me, you won't rest until you have located every single barn car in Forza Horizon 5.
